Duties

• Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
• Monitor patients’ health by taking vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature; observe and report changes in condition
• Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with meal consumption when necessary
• Support medication administration following care plans and HIPAA regulations to ensure privacy and safety
• Maintain a clean and safe environment through routine cleaning, laundry, and organization of living spaces
• Use specialized equipment such as Hoyer lifts or resident’s <PERSON> to ensure safe transfers and mobility assistance
• Document care activities accurately in compliance with healthcare standards and communicate effectively with healthcare teams about patient progress

Requirements

• Prior experience in assisted living, home health, nursing home, or group home settings is highly preferred
• Knowledge of patient observation techniques, dementia care (including Alzheimer’s), memory care, hospice care, and working with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism
• Certification or training in CPR and First Aid; ability to respond calmly during emergencies
