Direct Care Worker – 2nd and 3rd Shifts

Green Acres of Lowell, a beautiful, assisted living community located just 13 miles east of Grand Rapids, is currently seeking compassionate Direct Care Workers for all shifts. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our senior residents while working in a supportive, team-focused environment.

No license or prior experience is required — we provide paid, on-the-job training for the right candidates.

Pay & Schedule1st Shift

2nd Shift

• 2:00pm – 10:00pm
• $18.00/hour
• 24-32 hours per week

3rd Shift

• 10:00pm – 6:00am
• $18.00/hour
• 32–40 hours per week

Schedule includes every other weekend and rotating holidays.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and eating
• Follow individualized care plans to ensure resident safety and comfort
• Assist with medication administration as trained
• Provide companionship, emotional support, and encouragement of independence
• Assist with light housekeeping and meal service
• Accurately document care and report any changes in resident condition

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Ability to pass a criminal background check
• Compassionate, dependable, and a strong team player
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• No certification required — paid training provided
