Job Overview

We are seeking a passionate and energetic Caregiver to join our team and make a meaningful difference in the lives of our residents. In this role, you will provide attentive, personalized care to adults with diverse needs, including those with disabilities or requiring assistance with daily activities. Your dedication will help create a nurturing environment where residents feel valued, safe, and loved.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
• Provide companionship and emotional support to promote mental well-being
• Support residents with medication reminders and basic health monitoring under supervision
• Engage residents in meaningful activities tailored to their interests and abilities
• Follow safety protocols including first aid and CPR procedures when necessary
• Maintain accurate documentation of care provided and observe changes in residents’ conditions
• Collaborate with team members to ensure compliance with mandated reporting laws and care standards

Skills

• Experience working with individuals with disabilities or in adult foster care settings
• Knowledge of early childhood education principles applicable to toddler and child care environments
• Strong background in caregiving, childcare, babysitting, or nannying roles involving children of various ages
• Certified in first aid and CPR; understanding of mandated reporting laws
• Teaching experience with young children or youth programs is highly desirable
• Familiarity with childhood development, behavior management, and classroom or daycare experience
