Elderly Caregiver

* Job Summary

We are seeking IMMEDIATE HIRE a compassionate and dedicated Elderly Caregiver to provide exceptional PERSONAL CARE ASSISTANCE to an elderly female client in her own home. Patient is amputee ( one leg) and requires assistance with putting the prosthetic leg on at the beginning of every shift. As well as assistance with ;

• Assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADL's), including bathing, dressing, grooming, client's laundry , light housekeeping ,and mobility support.
• Prepare or serve nutritious meals tailored to dietary needs.
• Some transportation in client's own car may be requested on limited basis.
• Assist with client's lifting and physical tasks, transfers safely using proper techniques.
• (4) hour shift from 8:30 am-12:30pm-Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday.
• Must be prompt.

Qualifications

• Prior experience working in group homes, assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home health or home care environments is highly preferred
• Demonstrated ability to observe patients carefully and respond appropriately to changes in condition or behavior
• Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and maintaining patient confidentiality is essential
• Strong communication skills combined with a compassionate attitude toward elderly individuals and their families
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when assisting residents with mobility or transfers using appropriate equipment
