Role Overview

As an Elderly Caregiver at Homewatch CareGivers of Ventura, you will be responsible for implementing personalized care plans and assisting clients with their daily needs. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with our dedicated team to support clients in remaining safe, comfortable, and independent in their homes. Whether you work full-time or part-time, you’ll have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of those we serve.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide individualized care and assistance to clients in accordance with their care plans.
• Help clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene and meal preparation.
• Offer companionship and emotional support to clients and their families.
• Observe and report any changes in clients’ conditions to the care team.
• Collaborate with the caregiving team to ensure high-quality service and support.

Qualifications

You're a great fit if you have the following skills.

• Experience in caregiving or similar roles, particularly with the elderly.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Empathy and compassion towards clients and their families.
• Flexibility to adapt to the needs of clients on varying days.

Bonus If You

• Possess relevant certifications in caregiving or first aid.
• Have training in dementia or Alzheimer’s care.
• Speak additional languages to assist in communication with diverse clients.

Employment Type & Availability

This position is Full-Time or Part-Time, available Monday through Sunday.

Location

This position is on-site only, located in Oak View, California.
