Female Caregiver Needed in Woodlands

Overview

We’re seeking a compassionate female caregiver for a role in Woodlands. You’ll provide respectful, attentive support tailored to each client’s needs, helping them maintain comfort, dignity, and independence. This paid position may involve home care, senior care, or support for individuals with disabilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), personal care, meal preparation, cooking, cleaning, and personal transportation.
• Follow care plans; support medication administration as authorized and monitor clients’ well-being, including vital signs when required.
• Provide patient observation, communication, transfers, and manual handling with appropriate equipment, such as a Hoyer lift, when applicable.
• Offer direct support and patient care for people with dementia, Alzheimer’s, autism, intellectual disabilities, or other developmental and neurodevelopmental disabilities.
• Respect privacy, confidentiality under the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA), and each resident’s rights. Your impact: Consistent, respectful care helps clients and families feel supported while promoting safety and daily independence.

Experience

• Caregiving, home health, home and community care, or patient care experience is valuable; experience in assisted living, group homes, nursing homes, hospice, geriatrics, memory care, or long-term care is also relevant.
• Familiarity with dementia care, disability support, patient monitoring, transfer methods, heavy lifting, and assisting with ADLs is helpful.
• First aid and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) knowledge is preferred; nursing experience is a plus.
• Bring clear client communication, patience, reliability, and a commitment to safe, dignified care.

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
