Job Summary

Join our dedicated team as a Full-Time Resident Aide / Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for day and evening shifts! In this vital role, you will provide compassionate, personalized care to residents in a supportive environment that promotes dignity, independence, and well-being. We work on a block schedule and must be able to work every other weekend. We are a Low Level of Care and facility searching for long term employees to join our family.

Duties

• Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
• Engage residents in social activities and group programs to foster community involvement and mental stimulation
• Maintain a clean, safe environment by performing light housekeeping duties, including cleaning resident areas and common spaces
• Respond promptly to emergency situations through ARIEL call lights when necessary, ensuring resident safety at all times
• Support residents’ emotional well-being through compassionate communication and personalized care plans
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop tailored care strategies that meet each resident’s unique needs

Skills

• Proven experience in assisted living, nursing homes, or long-term care environments with a focus on geriatrics or senior care
• Strong knowledge of ADLs assistance
• Excellent communication skills for working effectively with residents, families, and team members
• Valid CPR and First Aid certifications; ongoing education for state compliance
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team in a fast-paced environment
