Full-Time Hospice Caregiver (Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM)

Job Overview

Favor Healthcare is seeking a compassionate, dependable, and experienced full-time caregiver to provide one-on-one care for a client receiving hospice services in Cypress, TX. This position is ideal for someone who is patient, reliable, and passionate about providing comfort, dignity, and quality care during end-of-life.

Schedule

• Monday–Friday
• 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
• Start Date: ASAP

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate personal care, including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and incontinence care.
• Assist with safe transfers, repositioning, and mobility.
• Be able to safely lift, move, and reposition the client as needed.
• Monitor and report changes in the client’s condition to the care coordinator and family.
• Provide companionship, emotional support, and meaningful engagement.
• Assist with meal preparation, feeding, and hydration as appropriate.
• Perform light housekeeping related to the client’s care (laundry, dishes, tidying the client’s living area).
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment.
• Follow the client’s individualized care plan and hospice care guidelines.
• Document care provided and communicate effectively with the care team.
• Demonstrate professionalism, patience, empathy, and respect for the client’s dignity and privacy.

Qualifications

• Hospice caregiving experience is required.
• Previous experience as a caregiver, CNA, home health aide, or personal care attendant preferred.
• Experience assisting clients with limited mobility and transfers.
• Ability to lift and reposition clients safely.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
• Ability to pass a background check.
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred (or willingness to obtain).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Dependable, compassionate, and punctual.
