Duties

• Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility assistance
• Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature to ensure health stability
• Support medication administration following prescribed protocols and document accurately using Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems
• Provide specialized dementia and Alzheimer’s care, employing memory care techniques and behavior management strategies
• Operate assistive devices like Hoyer lifts and perform manual handling safely to prevent injury for residents and staff
• Prepare nutritious meals and assist with light housekeeping tasks to promote a clean, safe living environment
• Support residents’ social engagement and emotional well-being through companionship and group activities

Requirements

• Valid CNA/PCA/DCA certification with current licensure where applicable
• Prior experience in assisted living, nursing homes, or home & community care settings is highly preferred
• Demonstrated knowledge of Alzheimer’s, dementia, geriatrics, and developmental disabilities care
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in fast-paced environments
