Duties

• Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
• Monitor patient health by observing vital signs and reporting changes to healthcare professionals
• Administer medications following prescribed schedules and medical instructions while maintaining accurate documentation
• Support patients with specialized care needs such as Alzheimer's, dementia, hospice, or end-of-life care
• Operate Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems to document care activities and medical records accurately
• Use medical terminology appropriately when recording observations or communicating with healthcare teams
• Employ assistive devices like Hoyer lifts and perform catheter care safely and effectively
• Prepare nutritious meals and assist with light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning and laundry to maintain a safe living environment
• Follow home healthcare regulations and HIPAA guidelines to ensure patient privacy and safety
• Provide emotional support and companionship to promote mental well-being in a home or community setting
