Job Overview

Apollo Homecare is seeking a dependable English-speaking caregiver for a permanent case.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support.
• Heat prepared soup or meals and follow dietary and meal-safety instructions.
• Assist and accompany the client on a daily walk at least 40 minutes, using her walker and following safety instructions.
• Provide light housekeeping, including sweeping, vacuuming, changing bed linens, laundry, cleaning the bathroom , and washing dishes.
• Offer companionship and report any safety concerns to the agency.

Qualifications

• Proven experience working with individuals with disabilities, developmental and mental delays.
• Certification in First Aid and Basic Life Support (BLS), including CPR training.
• 75-hour Home Health Aide certificate from an in-person training program; online certificates are not accepted.
• Current liability insurance.
• Completion of required agency in-service training.
• Ability to meet agency and applicable Florida requirements.

Caregiver should be reliable and able to safely support the client's walking routine. Previous caregiver experience is preferred.
