We are a family owned agency in Cuyahoga Falls looking for a few Experienced PRN/PT/FT Home Health Aides that will work in the Summit County area.

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated experienced Home Health Aide to provide essential care and support to a single individual in home. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to enhancing the quality of life for clients, particularly those with developmental disabilities. This role requires a blend of caregiving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively within a team or independently.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive and nurturing environment.
• Monitor and report changes in clients' health status to the appropriate healthcare professionals.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations while maintaining client confidentiality.
• Support clients with mobility and physical exercises as directed by healthcare providers.
• Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a safe and clean living environment.
• Administer medication as prescribed and assist with medical equipment when necessary.
• Maintain accurate records of care provided and any significant observations during shifts.

Qualifications

• Certification in First Aid is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and commitment to maintaining client confidentiality.
• Ability to perform basic cooking tasks and prepare nutritious meals for clients.
• Familiarity with nursing home environments is a plus.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with families and healthcare teams.
