Housekeeper - Assisted Living Memory Care

We are seeking a compassionate, dependable Full Time/Day, Monday-Friday, Housekeeper for our Memory Care Residences located on Thurston Road, Rochester, to help ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming home for our residents. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in their work, values teamwork, and wants to be part of a mission‑driven community—especially one focused on dignity, comfort, and quality of life for older adults, including individuals living with dementia.

Hourly Rate: $16.50 - $18.00 $500 sign on bonus

What You’ll Do

Ensure a Clean, Safe, and Comfortable Environment

* Perform daily housekeeping and environmental services in resident rooms, bathrooms, and common areas * Clean and sanitize floors, carpets, fixtures, furnishings, walls, and windows * Complete terminal cleaning after resident discharges or transfers * Properly dispose of trash and infectious waste following safety and infection‑control guidelines

Support Resident Well‑Being

* Participate in resident activities and occasionally dine with residents to support community engagement

Promote Safety & Quality

* Follow all infection control, universal precautions, and fire safety policies * Identify and report hazards, maintenance needs, and incidents promptly * Complete logs, assignment sheets, and quality assurance documentation accurately

Be a Valued Team Member

* Coordinate cleaning activities with other departments to support resident programming * Attend training sessions, staff meetings, and in‑service education as required * Maintain a positive, professional, and customer‑service‑focused attitude
