Acti-Kare of Orange-Tustin is an industry leader in providing high-quality home care services to seniors and clients needing assistance. We are currently seeking experience caregivers to work with clients in and around Orange, Santa Ana and Tustin communities.

Summary

As an In-Home Caregiver at Acti-Kare of Orange-Tustin, you will play a vital role in supporting clients with daily activities, personal care needs and companion care. This position is essential to our commitment to delivering compassionate and effective care that promotes independence and well-being.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate personal care and assistance with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Assist clients with mobility, ambulation, and transfers using proper techniques and appropriate equipment
• Prepare meals according to clients' dietary preferences and instructions.
• Provide medication reminders as outlined in the care plan
• Offer companionship, emotional support, and meaningful engagement in daily activities
• Assist with errands, grocery shopping, appointments, and transportation as assigned
• Perform light housekeeping, laundry, and maintain a clean and safe living environment
• Follow each client's individualized care plan and respect their preferences, dignity, privacy, and independence.
• Observe and promptly report changes in the client's physical condition, behavior, or needs.
• Document care provided, completed tasks, and any concerns according to company procedures.
• Report accidents, falls, injuries, and emergencies promptly to the appropriate supervisor
• Follow proper infection-control, hygiene, and safety procedures.
• Communicate professionally and respectfully with clients, families, and the care team.
• Maintain client confidentiality and protect personal information
• Arrive on time, maintain reliable attendance, and communicate scheduling concerns promptly

Qualifications / Requirements

• Must have at least 1 year of experience minimum
• Valid CA Driver’s License
• Reliable Transportation
• Willingness to travel to clients within our service areas
• Must be Registered Home Care Aide
• Must be Registered CNA
• Must be able to pass background checks
• Ability to communicate effectively in English and understand client instructions

Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 4.0 – 20.0 per week
