In Home Caregiver

Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated In Home Caregivers to provide essential support and care to individuals in their own homes. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in home healthcare and have experience in various home health care stages such as; Companion care, Assistance Daily living Activities, Memory Care, and Hoyer Lift Experience. This role is vital in ensuring the well-being and comfort of our clients, particularly those with geriatric needs. We currently have openings for Weekend Evening shifts.

Duties

• Provide personal care assistance, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Assist in the Administration of medications as prescribed and monitor client health conditions.
• Assist with mobility and physical activities to promote independence.
• Prepare nutritious meals and assist with dietary needs.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients.
• Document daily activities, changes in health status, and any incidents.
• Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care.
• Support clients with emotional and social needs through companionship and engagement.

Qualifications

• Experience in emergency medicine or related fields such as inpatient care or nursing home settings is preferred.
• Strong understanding of geriatric care principles and practices.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work independently while also being a team player.
• Compassionate nature with a strong desire to help others.
• Certification in CPR/First Aid is highly desirable.
• Certification as a CNA, LPN, or RN is required.

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 6.0 – 18.0 per week
