Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated In Home Caregiver to provide exceptional support and assistance to individuals in their own homes. Responsibilities

• Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support using manual handling techniques such as Hoyer lifts when necessary.
• Monitor and observe patients’ health status by taking vital signs, tracking medication schedules, and reporting any changes or concerns promptly.
• Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs while maintaining cleanliness and food safety standards.
• Support clients with mobility and transfer needs using appropriate equipment like Hoyer lifts or other assistive devices.
• Maintain accurate care plans, document patient observations, and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect client confidentiality.
• Perform light housekeeping duties such as cleaning living areas, laundry, and ensuring a safe environment for residents.
• Provide emotional support and companionship to foster social engagement and reduce feelings of isolation for clients with dementia, Alzheimer’s, or other neurodevelopmental disorders.

Experience

• Prior experience working in home health care, assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or group homes is highly preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to work with individuals with developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorder, or cognitive impairments such as dementia or Alzheimer’s disease.
