Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated In Home Caregiver to provide essential support and care to individuals in their homes. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in caregiving, with experience in personal hygiene assistance, mobility support and effective communication. As an In- Home Caregiver, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients by assisting them with daily activities and ensuring their safety and comfort.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care services including bathing, grooming, and dressing assistance.
• Assist clients with mobility and transportation needs, ensuring safe movement within the home.
• Monitor and record clients' health status and report any changes to healthcare professionals.
• Medication reminders.
• Assist with preparing nutritious meals according to dietary restrictions or preferences.
• Engage clients in social activities to promote mental well-being and companionship.
• Maintain a clean and safe living environment by performing light housekeeping tasks.
• Collaborate with family members and healthcare providers to develop individualized care plans.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a caregiver or in a related healthcare field such as medical-surgical, geriatrics, outpatient care.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and their families.
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting and moving clients safely.
• Knowledge of basic health care practices, HIPAA, safety procedures, and emergency protocols.
• Certification in CPR/First Aid is required.
• A compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others improve their quality of life.
• Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings and weekends as needed.
