Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate, dependable, and responsible Home Health Caregiver to provide quality in-home care to our clients. The caregiver will assist clients with activities of daily living while promoting their independence, dignity, safety, and overall well-being.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and other personal-care needs
• Provide companionship and emotional support
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding when needed
• Provide care according to the client’s care plan
• Assist with walking, transfers, and mobility
• Perform light housekeeping, laundry, and tidying
• Observe and report changes in the client’s physical or emotional condition
• Provide protective oversight
• Maintain accurate records of care provided
• Follow the client’s individualized care plan and safety procedures

Qualifications

• Compassionate and dependable
• 1 year home health experience preferred not required
• Previous caregiving experience preferred but not always required
• Ability to communicate effectively with clients, families, and supervisors
• Ability to work independently in a client’s home
• Valid Driver’s License
• Dependable transportation
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred, if transportation is required
