Job Summary

A Physicians Home Care (APHC) is a locally owned business in Colorado Springs that was started by a family of a Special Needs child who is now an adult.

We founded in 2017 in hopes to be able to provide the best possible care to those who need in- home assistance.

We are looking for a reliable home health IHSS attendant who recognizes, like us, that the world of health care is constantly changing and is motivated to do what is right. We work hand in hand with you to help you grow and have a meaningful career.

Part- Time

Schedule

Thursday from 8am-4pm

Saturday & Sunday from 8am-4pm (possible additional hours)

Responsibilities of the Home Health IHSS attendant role include

· Assist assigned with activities of daily living such as bathing, grooming, toileting and elimination, and adequate food intake via g-tube.

· Assist as assigned with ambulation, transfers, ADLS and/or range of motion exercises.

· Ability to help transfers up to 70 pounds

· Light Housekeeping

· Recognize and document changes in client condition and report to supervisor.

· Read and record client temperature, pulse and respiration as assigned.

· Provide Medical Oversight to ensure our clients remain safe and free from injury.

Qualifications

· Work positively in a team environment and favorably with patients, families and staff

· 1 year Home Health experience preferred

· Knowledge of Federal and State regulations related to homecare

· Strong interpersonal verbal and written communication skills

· Must be well organized and demonstrate the ability to prioritize job demand

Requirements

· Current driver’s license, and proof of car insurance

· Reliable transportation

· Good attendance

· High school/GED or equivalent desirable
