Lead Caregiver

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Lead Caregiver to join our team, providing exceptional support and leadership within our care community. Duties

• Supervise and coordinate caregiving staff to deliver consistent, compassionate care tailored to each resident’s needs.
• Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility assistance, and meal preparation.
• Monitor residents’ health by observing vital signs, administering medications as prescribed, and updating care plans accordingly.
• Support residents with specialized needs such as Alzheimer’s care, dementia care, memory care, or neurodevelopmental disorders like autism.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain confidentiality of all patient information.
• Lead by example in manual handling techniques using equipment such as Hoyer lifts and proper body mechanics for heavy lifting or transfers.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment through regular cleaning routines and adherence to infection control protocols.
• Document all care activities accurately in electronic health records or paper logs, including patient observations and incident reports.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals, social workers, families, and team members to develop and update individualized care plans.
