We are seeking a proactive and skilled Maintenance Worker to join our assisted living residence team. In this vital role, you will ensure the smooth operation and safety of our facility by performing a wide range of maintenance, repair, and operational tasks. Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections and maintenance of plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC units, and mechanical equipment to ensure optimal operation.
• Maintain and repair building systems including plumbing, HVAC, lighting, and appliances to uphold safety standards.
• Track work orders, schedule preventive maintenance, and document repairs.
• Execute residential painting projects and oversee facilities maintenance tasks to maintain the residence’s aesthetic appeal.
• Supervise or assist with welding projects or mechanical repairs requiring specialized skills.
• Complete maintenance activities while ensuring compliance with safety protocols and quality standards.

Skills

• Experience in facilities maintenance and repair operations.
• Proficiency in electrical troubleshooting, electrical equipment repair, and reading schematics.
• Experience with system repairs.
• Skilled in residential painting and general carpentry tasks.
• Demonstrated leadership or supervising experience .
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly in English.
