Job Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Assistant to provide essential support to individuals in need of assistance with daily living activities. Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance clients' well-being.
• Implement behavior management strategies to ensure a safe and supportive environment.
• Assist with mobility and lifting clients as necessary while ensuring their comfort and safety.
• Drive clients to appointments or community activities as required.
• Maintain accurate records of client care and report any changes in their condition to the supervising staff.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals and family members to develop personalized care plans.
• Ensure a clean and safe living environment for clients by performing light housekeeping tasks.

Requirements

• Previous experience in memory care, assisted living, or long-term care is preferred.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients.
• Ability to lift and assist clients safely while adhering to proper lifting techniques.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required for transportation duties.
• Knowledge of direct support services and home community care practices is a plus.
• Compassionate nature with a commitment to providing high-quality personal care.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings or weekends if needed.
