Responsibilities

• Assist with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, mobility support, and meal assistance to promote independence and dignity.
• Monitor vital signs including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration; document findings accurately using electronic health records (EHR) or medical documentation systems like Epic or Cerner.
• Administer medications following prescribed protocols while adhering to HIPAA regulations and state healthcare guidelines.
• Support patients with specialized needs such as tube feeding, catheter care, and managing memory care or dementia-related behaviors.
• Maintain thorough medical records, update charts regularly, and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations including HIPAA and state Board of Nursing standards.
• Perform basic life support (BLS), CPR, first aid, and emergency response procedures confidently when required.
