Memory Care Lifestyle Assistant

in Tampa, Florida is seeking a dedicated Lifestyle Assistant to join our team in providing engaging and meaningful activities for our memory care residents. This position offers an opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of seniors in our community.

Duties

• Plan and facilitate activities that cater to the physical, emotional, and social well-being of residents
• Assist in organizing events, outings, and programs to enhance residents' quality of life
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff to ensure activities meet individual needs
• Provide memory care and dementia care support during activities and meals
• Collaborate with the caregiving team to create a supportive environment for residents
• Manage schedules and maintain documentation related to activities

- Additional tasks as assigned by the Supervisor

Qualifications

• Experience in memory care, assisted living, or related field is preferred
• Strong communication skills and ability to interact compassionately with seniors
• Knowledge of recreational therapy principles and aging issues counseling
• Ability to plan and execute engaging events and activities
• Proficient in schedule management and organizational tasks
