Responsibilities

• Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support.
• Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature to ensure client health and safety.
• Support clients with medication administration following prescribed instructions while maintaining compliance with home healthcare regulations.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to promote mental well-being, especially for clients with dementia or Alzheimer's disease.
• Assist with light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation to maintain a safe and comfortable living environment.
• Utilize Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems or Medical Documentation tools to accurately document care provided and client progress.
• Operate medical equipment such as Hoyer lifts or catheter care supplies safely and effectively.
• Follow HIPAA guidelines to ensure confidentiality of patient information at all times.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to coordinate care plans, especially for clients receiving hospice or end-of-life care.
• Demonstrate proficiency in basic first aid and CPR to respond effectively during emergencies.
