Responsibilities

• Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), dressing, grooming, and mobility support
• Observe health status, reporting any changes or concerns promptly
• Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with feeding when necessary
• Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning resident areas and laundry
• Support residents with medication reminders and ensure adherence to care plans under supervision
• Engage residents in social activities and provide companionship to promote mental stimulation and emotional well-being

Requirements

• Prior experience working in group homes, assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home health environments is highly preferred
• Knowledge of patient observation techniques, dementia care, Alzheimer’s care, memory care, and working with individuals with developmental disabilities or neurodevelopmental disorders
• Ability to perform light cleaning, meal preparation, and assist with ADLs effectively
• Familiarity with HIPAA regulations to ensure resident confidentiality and privacy
• Certification or training in CPR and First Aid is desirable but not mandatory; willingness to obtain certification upon hire
