Part Time Caregiver

Job Overview

Refined Home Care has immediate openings for caregivers in Midland, MI. The position is part-time, with the potential to lead to full-time for the right candidate. Caregivers are responsible for providing care and assistance to individuals in their homes.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care including assistance with ADLs such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
• Support patients with mobility aids such as Hoyer lifts as needed
• Assist with meal preparation, feeding, laundry, cleaning, and light housekeeping to ensure a safe and comfortable environment
• Observe and report changes in patient condition or behavior promptly to healthcare professionals/supervisor
• Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations and medical documentation standards

Qualifications

• MUST have a driver's license, own vehicle, and proof of insurance, as some individuals may need to be transported to shopping, appointments, etc.
• Availability Sunday-Saturday
• Availability weekends and evenings, if needed
• Prior experience in home health, assisted living, nursing homes, or long-term care is essential
• CPR and First Aid certification are preferred
• Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or disabilities in general is desired
• Ability to work independently while following healthcare plans and protocols
• Strong communication skills for effective patient interaction and documentation

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
