• Offer companionship and emotional support to clients, engaging them in social activities.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients by performing light housekeeping tasks.
• Monitor clients' health by observing changes in condition and reporting any concerns to healthcare professionals.
• Support individuals with dementia or other cognitive impairments through tailored care approaches.
• Collaborate with family members and other healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive care.

Skills

• Proficiency in First Aid techniques and emergency response.
• Experience in Direct Support roles or similar caregiving positions.
• Background in Social Work or related fields is beneficial.
• Ability to maintain cleanliness and organization within the living space.
• Knowledge of Assisted Living protocols and best practices.
• Strong commitment to Patient Care principles with a focus on dignity and respect.
• Familiarity with Dementia Care strategies to effectively support clients with cognitive challenges.
• Competence in Medication Administration as per prescribed guidelines.
• Experience in Home Community Care settings is an advantage.
