Job Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Caregiver to provide exceptional support and assistance to one individual in need of daily living care. Duties

• Assist this resident with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
• Monitor patient health by checking vital signs, observing symptoms, and reporting changes promptly
• Support and following care plans and HIPAA regulations to ensure privacy and safety
• Assist with feeding as necessary
• Maintain a clean and safe environment through regular cleaning, laundry, and household chores
• Use manual handling equipment such as Hoyer lifts to safely transfer residents with mobility challenges
• Document care activities accurately in compliance with healthcare standards and facility policies

Skills

• Experience working in group homes, assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home health settings
• Strong patient observation skills to monitor health status and behavioral changes effectively
• Knowledge of neurodevelopmental disorders such as spinal cord injuries and cerebral palsy.
• Ability to perform CPR and First Aid confidently in emergency situations
• Familiarity with medication administration, vital signs measurement, and care plan implementation
