Job Summary

Duties

• Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support using equipment such as Hoyer lifts when necessary
• Monitor patient health by taking vital signs, observing symptoms, and reporting changes promptly to healthcare professionals
• Administer medications accurately according to care plans while maintaining strict compliance with HIPAA regulations for patient privacy and confidentiality
• Prepare nutritious meals and assist with meal planning tailored to dietary restrictions or preferences
• Support patients with cognitive impairments such as Alzheimer's disease or dementia through memory care techniques and engaging activities
• Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light housekeeping tasks including cleaning, laundry, and organizing personal spaces
• Follow detailed care plans created by healthcare teams, ensuring consistent and personalized support for each resident or client

Qualifications

• Proven experience in home health, assisted living, nursing homes, or group home settings with a focus on senior care or individuals with disabilities
