We are looking for an enthusiastic, compassionate, and creative Weekend Activity Assistant to join our Memory Care team and help make every weekend engaging, purposeful, and full of meaningful moments for our residents.

This isn't a job for someone who simply wants to pass the time. We're looking for someone who brings energy into a room, sees the person behind the diagnosis, and understands that a smile, a favorite song, a familiar activity, or a little laughter can make someone's entire day.

What You'll Do

• Bring activities to life! Lead engaging weekend programs that may include music, arts and crafts, games, baking, reminiscing, sensory activities, themed celebrations, and more.
• Create meaningful connections. Get to know residents as individuals, learn their interests and preferences, and find creative ways to encourage participation.
• Make every resident feel included. Adapt activities to meet different cognitive abilities, interests, and comfort levels.
• Bring the fun! Help create a warm, upbeat atmosphere where residents can laugh, socialize, express themselves, and enjoy their day.
• Support our Memory Care philosophy. Approach residents with patience, dignity, compassion, and an understanding of the unique needs of individuals living with dementia.
• Keep residents safe. Follow community policies, maintain appropriate supervision during activities, and communicate resident concerns to the appropriate team members.
• Work as part of the team. Partner with community staff to ensure residents receive a positive, engaging, and supportive experience throughout the weekend.

• Observant and thoughtful: You recognize when a resident needs encouragement, a quieter activity, or a different approach.
• A team player: You communicate well, accept feedback, and take pride in doing your part.

Previous experience in senior living, memory care, activities, recreation, education, childcare, or a similar role is a plus. Experience working with individuals living with dementia is especially valuable, but the right attitude, willingness to learn, and genuine compassion matter just as much.
