Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Nursing Assistant to join our healthcare team. In this role, you will provide essential support to patients in various settings, including nursing homes, long-term care facilities, and home care environments. Your primary responsibility will be to assist patients with daily living activities while ensuring their comfort and well-being. This position is ideal for individuals who are passionate about senior care and have a desire to make a positive impact in the lives of others.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and eating.
• Monitor and record vital signs, including temperature, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure.
• Maintain accurate medical records using systems such as yardi.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to patients.
• Assist with mobility and transportation of patients within the facility or home community care setting.
• Ensure cleanliness and safety of patient environments.
• Communicate effectively with healthcare team members regarding patient needs and changes in condition.
• Follow established protocols for infection control and patient safety.
• Promote engagement with our residents.

Skills

• Experience in long-term care or nursing home settings is preferred.
• Familiarity with medical records management systems, particularly yardi
• Proficient in measuring and recording vital signs accurately.
• Previous experience in home care or senior care environments is a plus.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with patients and families.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
