At Rockbridge Oaks Senior Living, a Thrive Senior Living community, we are looking for a caring, dependable, and motivated Resident Care Team Member to join our dedicated care team. In this vital role, you will assist residents with daily living activities, promote their independence, and help create a warm, supportive environment where every resident feels valued, respected, and cared for.

What You’ll Do – Your Purpose in Action

* Assist residents with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support. Recognize and promptly respond to residents’ needs, providing compassionate and attentive care. Support residents’ dignity and independence while ensuring safety and comfort. Document care, changes in condition, and interactions accurately and in a timely manner. Communicate effectively with team members, residents, and families to ensure continuity of care. Encourage resident engagement in community activities and wellness programs. Observe residents for any signs of distress, health changes, or safety concerns, and report promptly to supervisors. Assist with meal service, light housekeeping, and laundry duties as needed. Maintain clean, organized, and safe resident living areas in accordance with community standards. Adhere to infection control, safety, and privacy policies at all times. Support new resident moveins and help with transitions to make residents feel at home. Demonstrate teamwork, professionalism, and Thrive’s commitment to excellence in all interactions. Perform other duties as assigned by your leader.

What You Bring – Your Skills and Heart

• High school diploma or GED required. Previous experience in caregiving, assisted living, home health, or healthcare preferred.
