Responsibilities

• Provide attentive care to children of various ages, including infants, toddlers, and preschoolers, ensuring their safety and comfort at all times
• Support early childhood development through engaging activities that promote learning, social skills, and emotional growth
• Assist with daily routines such as feeding, diapering, bathing, and nap times in accordance with best practices and safety standards
• Implement behavior management techniques to encourage positive conduct and address challenges effectively
• Follow mandated reporting laws by documenting concerns related to child safety or well-being and reporting them to appropriate authorities when necessary
• Maintain a clean, organized environment that adheres to health and safety regulations for childcare settings
• Collaborate with parents, teachers, or other caregivers to ensure consistent care plans and developmental goals are met

Experience

• Prior experience working with children in settings such as daycare centers, preschools, babysitting, nannying, or youth programs teaching is highly valued
• Demonstrated experience caring for infants and toddlers, including infant care routines and toddler development milestones
• Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices
