ABOUT THE ROLE

We are opening a high-quality senior care home in Napa, CA, and we are seeking compassionate, reliable Caregivers to provide exceptional day-to-day support for our residents. This role is central to ensuring residents feel safe, cared for, and respected in a warm, homelike environment.

Caregivers work under the direction of our Care Home Manager / Admin and contribute to a collaborative, resident-first team culture.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Resident Care
• Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, transfers, and mobility support.
• Provide assistance with Instrumental ADLs, such as laundry, light housekeeping, and meal support.
• Observe residents and promptly report changes in condition or behavior to the Care Home Manager.
• Engage residents in conversation, companionship, and meaningful activities throughout the day.
• Promote resident dignity, independence, safety, and emotional well-being.
• Medication Support (as permitted by RCFE regulations)
• Assist with self-administration of medications as trained and allowed under CA licensing rules.
• Document medication assistance accurately and notify the Manager of any issues or concerns.

HOME ENVIRONMENT & SAFETY

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment for residents.
• Assist with meal prep, serving meals, and ensuring dietary guidelines are followed.
