Job Overview

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide essential support to individuals in need of assistance. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. This position involves working with diverse populations, including those with autism, memory care needs, and other health challenges.

Duties

• Provide personal care assistance to clients, including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
• assistance medications as prescribed and monitor clients for any changes in health status.
• Assist with mobility and heavy lifting when necessary to ensure client safety.
• Support clients in daily living activities and encourage independence where possible.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients by performing light housekeeping tasks.
• Document patient care activities accurately and report any concerns to the supervising nurse or healthcare professional.
• Engage clients in meaningful activities that promote social interaction and cognitive stimulation.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop individualized care plans tailored to each client's needs.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in caregiving or related fields such as nursing home care or home community care is preferred.
• Familiarity with memory care practices and working with individuals on the autism spectrum is a plus.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and their families.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by client needs.
• Knowledge of medication administration protocols is beneficial.
• A compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others improve their quality of life.
• Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours as needed.
