Caregiver

Overview

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide essential support and care for in home services. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for seniors . Your responsibilities will include assisting with daily activities, ensuring safety, and promoting independence while delivering personalized care.

Duties

• Provide personal care assistance including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Assist clients with meal preparation and feeding as needed.
• Support clients in daily living activities such as mobility, exercise, and recreational activities.
• Monitor and report changes in clients' health or behavior to appropriate staff or family members.
• Help with medication reminders and ensure adherence to prescribed schedules.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients by performing light housekeeping duties.
• Engage clients in meaningful conversations and activities to promote mental stimulation and emotional well-being.
• Lift and transfer clients safely using proper techniques to prevent injury.
• Document care provided and maintain accurate records of services rendered.

Requirements

• Previous experience in caregiving or related fields such as nursing home care, home care, or memory care is preferred.
• Knowledge of patient care practices and familiarity with working with individuals with developmental disabilities is a plus.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.
• Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others live comfortably and independently.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds safely and perform physical tasks associated with caregiving duties.
• Certification in CPR/First Aid is desirable but not mandatory; training may be provided.
• Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends as needed.
