Hiring Experienced Caregiver (Spanish speaking, Tue-Fri 7pm to 9pm)

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
• Monitor patient health by checking vital signs and observing for any changes in condition
• Administer medications accurately following care plans and HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality
• Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with meal planning and cooking
• Support patients with Alzheimer's, dementia, autism, or developmental disabilities through specialized memory care and behavioral strategies
• Operate medical equipment such as Hoyer lifts or other assistive devices safely and effectively
• Maintain detailed documentation of patient care activities, progress notes, and incident reports in compliance with healthcare standards

Skills

• Proven experience in home health, assisted living, nursing homes, or group home environments
• Knowledge of patient observation techniques and monitoring vital signs accurately
• Strong understanding of care plans, medication administration, and HIPAA compliance
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely using equipment like Hoyer lifts when necessary
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate with healthcare teams and family members
• Familiarity with dementia care, Alzheimer's care, hospice care, and working with individuals with disabilities or developmental challenges
