Duties

• Assist patients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility to enhance comfort and independence
• Monitor and record vital signs including blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration rates using EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems
• Support clinical teams by preparing patients for examinations or procedures and ensuring proper medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations
• Provide specialized care for patients with dementia or Alzheimer's disease, including memory care techniques and behavioral health support
• Operate assistive devices such as Hoyer lifts safely and effectively to prevent injury during patient transfers
• Administer medications under supervision following strict aseptic techniques and established protocols
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in various settings like ICU (Intensive Care Unit), emergency medicine units, or long-term care facilities to deliver comprehensive patient service
• Maintain infection control standards through proper hand hygiene, equipment sterilization, and adherence to safety practices in line with Level I Trauma Center requirements
