Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility using safe lifting practices and equipment like Hoyer lifts.
• Take and record vital signs including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration to monitor patient health status accurately.
• Support medication administration under supervision, ensuring proper documentation in electronic health records (EHR) systems while adhering to HIPAA regulations.
• Provide specialized care for individuals with dementia or Alzheimer's disease, including memory care techniques and behavioral health support.
• Assist with medical procedures such as phlebotomy (blood draws), catheter care, and aseptic techniques during clinical tasks.
• Document patient information thoroughly in medical records and electronic health records (EHR), maintaining accuracy and confidentiality at all times.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in various settings including hospitals (Level I Trauma Center experience), long-term care facilities, assisted living communities, hospice environments, and outpatient clinics.

Qualifications
