• Monitor and record vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration rates, ensuring accurate documentation in electronic health records (EHR) systems.
• Support medication administration under supervision, adhering strictly to HIPAA regulations and aseptic techniques to maintain patient safety.
• Provide specialized care for patients with dementia or Alzheimer's disease, implementing memory care strategies and behavioral health protocols.
• Collaborate with nursing staff to deliver comprehensive patient care in diverse environments such as medical-surgical units, ICU, emergency departments, or long-term care facilities.
• Assist with clinical procedures like phlebotomy or catheter care when trained and certified.
• Maintain a safe environment by following infection control protocols and safe lifting practices during patient transfers or heavy lifting tasks.
• Support patients with developmental disabilities or behavioral health needs by delivering compassionate caregiving tailored to individual requirements.
