Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

Job Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant to join our healthcare team. The Certified Nursing Assistant will work closely with our nursing staff to provide exceptional patient care in a fast-paced long-term care setting. Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care and support to residents, including assisting with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and toileting.
• Assist with medication administration and maintain accurate records of medication usage.
• Utilize aseptic technique to ensure the highest level of patient care and prevent the risk of infection.
• Collaborate with the nursing team to provide individualized care plans, including behavioral health interventions as needed.
• Assist with medical records and documentation, ensuring accurate and timely reporting of patient information.
• Participate in patient education and support efforts to promote healthy living and disease prevention.
• Provide critical care services as needed, including assisting with ventilators, IVs, and other life-sustaining equipment.

Skills

• Experience working in an assisted living or long-term care setting.
• Strong understanding of patient service and behavioral health principles.
• Proficient in aseptic technique and medication administration.
• Familiarity with medical records and documentation practices.
• Ability to work effectively in a critical care environment.
• Commitment to providing exceptional patient care and support.
• Ability to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals.
• OR certification preferred.

Pay: $17.50 - $23.00 per hour
