Duties

• Assist patients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility to promote independence and dignity
• Monitor and record vital signs including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration rates accurately using electronic health record (EHR) systems
• Support medication administration under supervision, ensuring proper documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations and medical records standards
• Provide specialized care for patients with dementia, Alzheimer's disease, or memory impairments through compassionate engagement and behavioral health techniques
• Operate medical equipment such as Hoyer lifts and perform basic aseptic techniques during procedures like catheter care or wound management
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams in acute care environments including ICU, emergency medicine, or long-term care facilities to deliver seamless patient care
• Maintain a safe environment by practicing proper manual handling, heavy lifting techniques, and adhering to safe lifting practices during patient transfers

Skills

• Proven experience working with electronic medical records (EMR/EHR systems) such as Epic, Cerner, or eClinicalWorks for accurate documentation
