Certified Nursing Assistant

Position Overview

Lighthouse Hospice is growing and seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our interdisciplinary care team based out of Eagle, Idaho. In this hands-on role, you will provide essential personal care and support to patients facing life-limiting illnesses, helping ensure their physical comfort and dignity during every stage of the hospice journey.

As a CNA with Lighthouse Hospice, you will play a crucial part in delivering dignified, respectful, and personalized care, while offering a calm and compassionate presence to patients and families. Your work helps create a supportive, peaceful environment during one of life’s most meaningful transitions.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist patients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition to the Registered Nurse
• Provide physical and emotional comfort through consistent and compassionate care
• Maintain patient dignity and respect across all interactions
• Support the care plan developed by the interdisciplinary team

Qualifications

• Current Idaho CNA certification
• Previous experience in hospice, home health, or a similar setting preferred
• Strong communication skills and a gentle, patient-centered approach
• Ability to work independently while being a reliable team member
• A genuine passion for serving individuals and families at end-of-life
• Reliable transportation (mileage reimbursement will be included)
