Job Summary: We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Nursing Assistant to join our healthcare team. Duties

• Assist patients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding.
• Monitor and record vital signs, including temperature, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure.
• Provide support in mobility and transfers using equipment such as Hoyer lifts.
• Assist with medical procedures under the supervision of nursing staff.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients by adhering to infection control protocols.
• Document patient care activities accurately in electronic health record (EHR) systems.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members regarding patient needs and progress.
• Support patients with memory care or dementia care strategies as needed.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance patient well-being.

SkillsThe ideal candidate should possess a combination of the following skills

• Experience with Epic or Cerner EMR systems for medical documentation.
• Critical care experience or familiarity with ICU settings.
• Long-term care experience in nursing homes or assisted living facilities.
• Knowledge of phlebotomy techniques and medication administration.
• Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or special needs.
• Basic life support certification and knowledge of aseptic techniques.
• Familiarity with hospice care, acute care environments, and geriatrics.
