CNA HHA Caregiver

Duties

• Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility support using Hoyer lifts or other assistive devices
• Monitor patient health by observing vital signs like blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration; document medical records accurately using Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems
• Support medication administration following home & community care regulations and medical documentation protocols
• Provide specialized care for individuals with dementia or Alzheimer's disease, including memory care techniques and behavioral management strategies
• Assist with catheter care, wound care, hospice support, and end-of-life comfort measures while maintaining patient dignity and privacy in compliance with HIPAA standards
• Perform light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning patient areas, laundry, meal preparation, and ensuring a safe environment for all residents or clients
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care plans are followed effectively
