Job Overview

Duties

• Assist patients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and eating.
• Monitor and record vital signs, including temperature, blood pressure, pulse, and respiration rates.
• Provide emotional support and companionship to patients, ensuring their comfort and well-being.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment by following aseptic techniques and infection control protocols.
• Collaborate with nursing staff to implement patient care plans effectively.
• Document patient information accurately in electronic health records.
• Assist in mobility and physical therapy exercises as directed by healthcare professionals.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and team members regarding patient status and needs.

Qualifications

• Certification as a Nursing Assistant (CNA) is required.
• Experience in assisted living or critical care settings is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy is essential for effective communication within the healthcare team.
