Direct Care Staff/Caregiver

Job Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Direct Care Staff to provide essential support to individuals with disabilities in a group home setting. This role involves assisting clients with daily living activities, promoting independence, and ensuring their overall well-being. The ideal candidate will have experience in caregiving.

Duties

• Assist clients with personal care tasks, including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
• Support individuals in daily living activities such as meal preparation, medication administration, and household chores.
• Engage clients in social and recreational activities to enhance their quality of life.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.
• Document client progress and report any changes in behavior or health to the appropriate staff members.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to individuals with dementia or memory care needs.
• Collaborate with other team members to develop and implement individualized care plans.

Skills

• Highschool diploma or equivalent. No experience needed. We will train.
• Caring, compassionate individuals. Must be able to work well with others.
