Home Health Aide

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility support
• Monitor patient health by observing vital signs and reporting changes to healthcare professionals
• Administer medications and treatments following medical instructions and home healthcare regulations
• Support patients with specialized care needs including Alzheimer's, dementia, memory care, hospice, and end-of-life care
• Perform light housekeeping tasks including cleaning, laundry, meal preparation, and ensuring a safe living environment
• Document patient progress thoroughly in medical records and communicate effectively with healthcare teams to coordinate care plans

Requirements

• Excellent caregiving skills with patience, compassion, and strong communication abilities
• Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or complex health conditions such as Alzheimer's or dementia is highly valued
• Valid HHA certification REQUIRED
• Flexibility to work live-in shifts or provide long-term care as needed
