Duties

• Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
• Monitor and observe patient conditions, including vital signs and overall well-being
• Support medication administration following prescribed instructions and medical documentation protocols
• Provide specialized care for patients with dementia, Alzheimer's disease, or other memory impairments
• Assist with catheter care, wound care, and hospice/end-of-life support as needed
• Maintain accurate medical records using Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations
• Prepare nutritious meals and assist with light housekeeping tasks like cleaning and laundry to promote a safe living environment
• Use assistive devices such as Hoyer lifts or perform heavy lifting when necessary to ensure patient safety
• Support patients during emergencies by applying basic first aid and basic life support (BLS) techniques

Experience

• Prior experience working in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home healthcare agencies is highly preferred but not required.
